if you buy a quality charger, that actually follow the usb-c specs, you don’t need to know.

When Lenovo wants $50 for a charger and you grab a $15 one off Amazon, don’t be overly surprised when it doesn’t follow the specs and cuts corners.



I’m sure you can find someone willing to charge you $50 on Amazon for an equally-bad charger.

Again, without some sort of standards enforcement, how can the end-purchaser differentiate between a quality cable and garbage.
