I just tend to avoid anyone who attempts this position. They often have too narrow a definition of "smartest" anyways... and that is why avoiding the belief that someone is the smartest person in any given group enriches the experience for everyone. This goes for oneself or even perceiving someone else as. We have something to learn from everyone, if we open our eyes, minds, and hearts.
