On HN LLM capabilities with code are most often discussed, but it's hard to see how something like Google's Nano Banana model isn't an extinction level event for low-to-middle tier Photoshop and graphic design work.
For editing photos it might be, but I still don't see it for graphic design in general. None of the tools today would be sufficient to generate say a box design for a cereal product. Especially when a lot of the elements have pretty strict requirements like "The name must be in this font", "The bar code must be the correct one".
