The main reason I never got into Nim is that I seem to recall it depending on mingw and that frankly always sets a language into a second-class category for me. Maybe now it’s different, I don’t know.
package manager? I’m talking about Windows here. mingw is a GNU toolchain for Windows. It is a big dependency that comes with compromises. I did look to see what nim supports now before I wrote that, and it still suggests mingw.
