Yeesh. I didn't realize they had that much trouble up there, and I'm disheartened that more wasn't disclosed when the event happened. Losing rotation and translation control in that context would be utterly terrifying. These astronauts clearly have the right stuff.

Also, title should read "far more dire". Missing an adverb there.

I disagree with Ars view and think they were saved by Dragon. Starliner was a failure, and it was a political decision that kept them up there.


you really think governments and corporations would do that? just go on the internet and tell lies?
