Make it make sense.

Wouldn't the smartest thing to do right now is selling crypto, buying stock indices, gold at worse and real estate at best? At least you have your physical land deed with that.

You believe they really have hundreds of usable (error-corrected) qubits, or will have in few years? IMO there is no reason to think such stuff exists, even if it were state secret there would be leaks. Because the research effort is massive.

Yes, they will in a few years. Extrapolating AI accelerating developments that will help them achieve this. Either US or China, but it will happen.

If AI can achieve huge advancements like that in few years, then it can also disrupt everything else. Including any investment strategy you can come up with, no matter how smart.

What if I use AI for my investment strategy?

Sure please do tell us :)

Bitcoin finally falling, because normies realized quantum technologies will crack it. Nice. It's only downhill from here. But gold and real estate in geopolitically safe areas.

Yes, let's make long term investment decisions from today's flashes in the pan!

We are nowhere near quantum breaking cryptography or anything related to crypto.

And google's recent hyped break thru of 100 qubits. Needs to scale to 1m qubits to do this.

Bitcoin price is based on vibes, not anything in the real world. It only holds value based on how popular it is

> It only holds value based on how popular it is

Popularity covers the demand side. For the supply, it's perfectly scarce.

In a world of fiat currencies effortlessly printed out of thin air, a liquid, divisible digital asset with perfect scarcity is going to be quite popular.

What, you think they’ll crack encryption soon?

Crypto is a very liquid asset. And there is no way to move your real estate across borders.

Yes, they will crack encryption soon.

Knowledge is power, networked computers are rockets of the mind.
