This is the primary reason why I still use Brave. There is ungoogled chromium and Thorium, but Brave has some useful privacy features that they don't, it just requires some debloat.
not looking into benchmarks, just from personal feelings for me Firefox feels faster, not sure exactly why I think maybe that's more consistent fps?
definitely video acceleration on linux is much better and screen sharing works much better with less memory and CPU
this is funny because those are mostly the same reasons i switched from Firefox to chrome X years ago
