The way the author writes about “white male cisgender leaders” is extraordinarily cringy. There are plenty of bad leaders across all races and genders, being white doesn’t automatically mean they don’t understand how to manage non-white employees, and being a minority doesn’t automatically mean they understand the plight of every minority out there.
This kind of reductionist view of race is really harmful
I’m the author, and didn’t say any of those things. I said that bias can lead to harder standards for minorities. They can be judged by higher standards.
Referring to "cisgender" itself delegitimizes anything else they had to say. Humans cannot change sex and I'm frankly quite sick of hearing about this gender bullshit entirely.
