Recently I made a brand new FB account for a project and as soon as I created the account I was instantly suspended. I had to dispute, upload more info, then get suspended _again_, dispute, upload _more_ info and for now I seem to be not suspended. This was for a totally legitimate account creation with no malintent.
This was obviously a terrible experience that makes me wonder how FB is able to get new users at all? I always thought that while FB had horrible stories like this, the mass market product was generally fine and polished for end users. I went through this crapshow, but there is no way an average user would have.
Is there something I'm missing here? Did I just get really unlucky and most people actually have a decent onboarding experience?
