Disgusting watching a company that used to stand for quality and user experience above all resorting to frankly pathetic restrictions just to scoop up extra dimes on cable sales when they have one of the biggest war chests in the world anyway.


Manufacturers can use any charging method, as long as USB-C is also supported. I don't see Apple violating this. (The next iphone isn't released yet so we're all guessing and theorizing here)


"Big trouble" as in "a slap on the wrist" fine by the EU?

The strongest "trouble" mentioned in the article is "the Commission will now be formally writing to Apple about the matter"
