Passwords are a bad way to authenticate. They allow stealing, hard to keep up and easy to forget. Also they are not very comfortable... With FIDO, your device can be stealed but it's much harder to penetrate. It also allows easy sync between multiple devices, and you don't have to worry about having high entropy.
