I’m afraid that people are going to apply ChatGPT’s hypnotic ability to online dating and particularly to romance scams, it is nice to see the tables turned.
But seriously, normal and worse-than-normal people have trouble with saying things are are subtly or not-so-subtly off putting and I think that ability to predict the most likely next word will very likely bypass the perception of that. I think it is the first area where people will see a clear and present danger from LLMs.
