I vividly remember watching Mir space station deorbiting in VRML in real-time in 2001.

It seemed normal back then, but looking back it is unbelievable how smooth the whole experience was given the state of the internet in 2001.

Looks wonderful in 2022:

No recommendations on what is supported though. I'm guessing best viewed in IE at 800x600
