This move by China can be considered a catalyst for the eventually collapse of communism in 1989 and their need to massacre loads of capitalists at Tiananmen Square.
Today's irony of people like Trump and Biden and their war with China is that they aren't at war with china... they are at war with capitalist china. Their problem with China can be completely eliminated by setting up free trade zones with ultra low taxes of their own.

The culture war is over and the homelander generation is now. As the name points out, there will be major polarization and sacrifice. The homelanders will be known for creativity, innovation, and being overly protected. The helicopter parents will be a key factor in forming much of their personality. Conformity will be so thick you will gag. Obviously also the opposite of people who oppose conformity. Those people will produce art that becomes tremendously valuable.
The real big deal... this generation will have a nightmare experience. There will be a world war and/or revolution. It's quite improbable that the revolution will be peaceful.
