weather in Russia changes fast - few years ago he helped prosecution to put away for treason a couple of FSB officers and a couple of Kaspersky employees.

Just to illustrate Russian treason charges - a few years back a newly wed couple posted on FB or something like this their wedding reception, a lot of drinking, etc. as Russian wedding reception goes, and one of the drunk guests was their friend who was loudly proudly telling everybody that he is an FSB officer, etc., and usually it isn't a secret information until you're an undercover or something like this. End result is a secret court hearing closed to public which handed 13 years for the groom and 12 years for the bride - for "disclosing state secrets to Latvia" : https://www.rbc.ru/society/24/12/2020/5fe45ca69a794757c4c8f6...

Anyone else noticed Russia is become way more aggressive with opposition? Assassinations. Jailing opposition then fabricating charges. Arresting those that may or may not have helped the government in the past and charging treason. The trend is getting ugly.
