More reason to keep up my personal boycott of Samsung, though I will say, this could probably just as easily happen to any of our newer phones - especially with an ever expanding market of sketchy cables, power packs, and even cases - which I presume could cause some slight heat dissipation issues, as well as keep a compromised battery that may otherwise start to bulge out of the phone as a failure mechanism too constricted to do so.
