They got the british phone number prefix +44 as a trademark?

They have a playlist on Amazon Music called +44 for “the best” in British music (I beg to differ) but it seems that’s what the trademark covers[1].

+44 Curated by Amazon's Music Experts

No Beatles, no floyd, no spice girls.

Imagine if everytime you phone england (or added 44 to another number) you have to pay jeff for using their trademarked mathematical statement.

X-Ray? How can that be trademarked by Amazon?

Trademarks must be industry/use-specific. UPS has a trademark on their shade of brown. You can use that brown for your business, but you can’t use that colormark if you’re starting a competing logistics company. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of companies with an “X-Ray” trademark. You can use X-Ray as long as it’s not to represent your “computer software tool for use in browsing and exploring electronic publications and books.” Only Amazon has the right to name such a specific software functionality “X-Ray.”

365? Really?

That’s Whole Foods 365

Funny. That's the same number of day I use in my calendar.

Luckily the number is not trademarked in the context of calendars.
