Reminds me of RobotWar, a 1981 game from Muse software that ran on Apple 2s.

I taught kids how to program this game in the early 1980s. I never expected commodity neural nets to be applied to the concept by hackers, 40 years later. Far out.

Fun fact, it was written by Silas Warner, the man that invented Castle Wolfenstein.


Pretty cool seeing a CTF write up on here! Kudos on the great work; the combination of reversing and ML here makes for a pretty interesting challenge, and tends to be the kind I enjoy working on the most as well.
