No, I don't think a dismissed court case makes much of a statement regarding anyone's character, and that wasn't my assertion or intent.
My sense is that potential investors would be wise to be aware of information like this, as part of various decision-making factors and research before they invest their own money (or other people's) in potentially risky projects.
Normally I would agree with you. However in this case we also know this person is now involved with an ICO scheme. This puts the situation into the realm of 'where there's smoke...'
The other commentators are really just pointing out that this kind of thinking is toxic. Imagine someone accuses you of sexual misconduct, and later the allegation is publicly proven to be misplaced. But you still get weird looks from your peers... How would you feel?
