So for my next project , I want to use git , but i'd have at least 2 team members who just aren't technical. Is their a best way to go about this ?

Perhaps hide it behind an appropriate UI? Is there a reason they have to know/care about git?

Ideally they would need to pull my changes down, as well as add some of their own.
A git for designers is what I basically need

What design tool do they use? If Sketch, they can use Sympli Versions

Do you think GitHub Desktop is easy enough ?
I really don't want to have to spin up a cms

It really depends on the use-case. What would be the easiest/simplest thing for the users to do given their current mental models and workflow? It might be easier to script and/or UI something than sell and support git :)
