It's quite silly that the author doesn't know this, but the feature he requests exists already and has existed for 10 years -- Privacy Extesions for SLAAC in IPv6 (RFC3041). It's even enabled by default on Windows.

You're right, and I heard it's also enabled by default on OS X Lion. It's already enabled by default in the newer iOS builds.

Got link for the "enabled by default in Windows" bit? Which versions does this apply to? I'd like to add that correction to the article.

I've seen it on Vista, 7 and on XP once IPv6 is enabled. Concerning sources,
