Exactly. I don't have a lot of interest in comments that boil down to, "This thing was not made for me and I'm upset!" People like different things. People like to make different things.

If somebody wants to start a discussion about narrative journalism's place in the world, fine. If they want to ask for a more condensed version of the story, also fine. Better still if they say, "I'm not a fan of narrative journalism, so I dug around and here are the 3 best traditional news stories I could find on the topic."
