So, I only took a quick look at the two links. No offense, but do you really think those are what the OP is talking about? He's asking for flying cars and full VR immersion... its unlikely that very efficient database is going to match up.
This is not to say that what you folks are doing isn't completely awesome. But the OP's requests seem very different.
Rethink looks useful, but nothing I'm going to blow a gasket over .. As for directededge? I don't know, I'm looking to be inspired by something inspirational, not just another web startup coming up with new ways to sell me shit. No offense to the directededge guys & gals, I'm sure their work is interesting and they're solving hard problems .. But if it doesn't include a jetpack or a robotic maid, then what's the point?
