Do you think H1B visa holders looking to move to a Green Card (in coordination with their employer) should be concerned about rejected applications or other issues?
There is no issue specific to those in H-1B status impacting the ability to get a green card but I would say that it's getting tougher to get green cards in general, particularly through the National Interest Waiver and Extraordinary Ability routes.
No, they still should travel. But they should consult with their company's immigration lawyer regarding the documents they should carry when they travel.
I make Beekeeper Studio, another open source db tool (although v different), we started charging for a pro version 2 years ago. Would be cool to connect! I can tell you what we did and what did and didn't work - Matthew (at) beekeeperstudio (dot) io
I need remote part/full time folks to help with the following:
============
Marketing / Growth
Write blog posts, email sequences, landing pages, ads, videos, etc. Must be comfortable with Markdown and HTML/CSS.
Goal: Help increase signups & conversions, reduce churn.
============
Support & QA
Test the application, respond to customer requests, help triage GitHub. Write automated tests. Opportunities to do other stuff like coding / marketing if interested.
Goal: Help our releases be rock-solid.
============
Location preference: Global! If you're in Latin America I can pay well and that's perfect for timezone overlap.
I can't keep the lights on with one time payments, period. I just don't make enough money.
However as a consumer I prefer them.
My compromise is a subscription that provides a permanent benefit after 1 year. Access to any version of the app released in your subscription period. Forever.
I think it's really fair, and when I made the change I saw an immediate uptick in sales.
