Maybe by apple. No when GDPR is the real reason. The GDPR grants also visitors of the EU the rights of the act. So if you are traveling as an American to Europe and want to talk to the Italian waitress you/Apple are breaching her rights but also yours (of eg not being permanently recorded). As a device owner you might consent for the usage but for example data limitation or right to delete might still apply as long as you are on EU soil as an US citizen.
But honestly, I do not believe GDPR is the reason here. Apple is also very privacy focused.
GDPR does grant it rights to EU citizens everywhere in the world but also other nation citizens in EU. I personally like GDPR a lot but I understand that people are complaining about this part
is there something like this for Asana, I hate their UI and UX. Their keyboard shortcuts are based off `Tab` key being a "modifier" which makes absolutely no sense.
yeah, when I downloaded the beta back in 2017/2018, I was using it as a replacement for Evernote. It was amazing. As the feature bloat made it slower and as the push towards companies made it less individual-focused, I started to use it more for group projects and now for teams.
Obsidian is just better for writing especially longer notes etc. Notion is great for sharing data intensive stuff, nicely formatted docs, and for collaborating.
is the multi-file editing as easily understood in the Claude Code cli? or am I missing something? I always felt like Claude Code CLI was OK as a tool yet powered by one of the best AI models. I stuck with Cursor b/c of the multi-file editing, agent mode, etc. I'm very very willing to leave Cursor because they've recently been scummy about their pricing changes.
does anyone have a suggestion on running LLMs locally on a windows PC and then accessing them (thru an app / gui) on mac? My windows PC is a gaming PC with a pretty good GPU and I'd like to take advantage of that.
I wouldn't buy this because of the price tag but I love the industrial design of this thing! I wish there were more things like this (albeit more practical) that I would like to upgrade my desk with.
