Agreed. Strong abstract math skills often signal cognitive strength and discipline, predicting success in complex real-world tasks more than direct transfer of content.

How would you take into account the converse finding by TFA?

> By contrast, children with no market-selling experience (n = 471), enrolled in nearby schools, showed the opposite pattern. These children performed more accurately on simple abstract problems, but only 1% could correctly answer an applied market maths problem that more than one third of working children solved (β = 0.35, s.e.m. = 0.03; 95% confidence interval = 0.30–0.40, P < 0.001). School children used highly inefficient written calculations, could not combine different operations and arrived at answers too slowly to be useful in real-life or in higher maths.

Great, I'm going to try it

I don't know how to play it, adding some guidance and hints should make it a bit better.

There's a whole new tutorial now, curious what you make of it.

The functionality of the App is appealing, but the content of this site looks a bit rough, and it is recommended that it could be spruced up.

yea i agree. i'll likely add some sort of video demo to the site and a bit more use cases. were you able to try out the app?

Does anyone know how to get the first batch of users after the website is ready?

PS: This is a website for the country of Indonesia.

Hello everyone, I've been involved in client-side app development until a few months ago when I started exploring web development. Compared to client-side applications, I found that web development allows for quicker product delivery, enabling immediate user feedback.

After spending some time teaching myself, I've picked up some fundamental web development techniques and understood the importance of SEO. Using this new knowledge, I created my first website: a simple online tool that removes unwanted objects from images.

I hope this tool can assist those in need of cleaning up their images. This project was not only a technical challenge for me but also an opportunity to understand the practical aspects of web development. If you're interested, please visit https://hapusobjek.com/ and give it a try.

I welcome any feedback and look forward to sharing more about my learning journey and the development process with you all.
