cool stuff!

Thank you!

If you give it a try, I'd love to get your feedback. I'd also like to see what you're making!

I threw together a simple patch-style synth to play with the Web MIDI APIs and React Flow. It’s an early experiment and part of my personal “try things and learn” site.

Couldn't you also just get fuel saving benefits from multiple aircraft flying in formation? https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/20205006743/downloads/AI...

I'm surprised that companies like fedex don't do this.

There's an app called Novel Effect that's free that adds sound effects and music when you read a physical book out loud. It's limited to a list a of books and poems, so it won't just work with any book, but it's still a fun tech to demo. It's popular with teachers already, and has a pretty low bar when it comes to ease of use. And it's something they can do on their own too.

I would be a big fan of them converting the locations in to mixed use housing and retail.

"Alexa, order more tuna."

I think it's way better than the Uber library. We tried both and ended up going with this version and it was much more flexible for our needs.

I understood some of these words!

I've been playing around with MotionEye OS (https://github.com/ccrisan/motioneyeos/wiki) with a lot of success. I've only tried two cameras, but there is support for more.

I really like this. My only issue is that the prototype ignores single finger, which to me feels like it should be the most important control. The other issue with number of fingers based gestures is, well, people who are missing fingers. I also think using both the X & Y position could be really useful. Why not tune the radio by dragging up and down and adjust the volume by move right and left, or other combined gestures?

One possible explanation is that these are intended as additional controls and the single finger interaction is still reserved for a more button based approach.

That's how I imagined it too. Single finger would be reserved for getting back to a more conservative input mode.

I kinda feel like the default screen for this thing would be a map, so a single finger would just scroll the map around. And with one finger you can't find a diameter so there's no second option with wider spacing for a single finger.

I really like the idea of an always-on GPS that can intercept commands for other stuff (radio, HVAC, etc) and forward them to the appropriate app/microcontroller/hardware.
