Just to confirm, is it this sample under Connection details? https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/realtime?text-genera...

Edwin from OpenAI here. 1) The linked tweet shows behavior through ChatGPT, not the OpenAI API, so you won't be charged for any tokens. 2) For the overall flow and email notification, we're taking a second look here.

So we're allowed to ask about the chain of thought via the API?

will these (or have these) notifications been paused while the decision is being reconsidered?

can't speak to the actual service, but can confirm they have excellent bananas (not kidding)

hey, a vouch is a vouch!

Sorry about this. Could you forward that email to me at edwin@stripe.com?

Just checking—have you emailed? Happy to take another look.

Hello Edwin and thank you for checkin in, I emailed earlier but I resent the email just now.

I emailed directly from the company email, so it might have went to spam.

Got it. We've just sent an update. Sorry for all the trouble.

Transaction = only successfully authorized and captured payments.

Sorry about that. We're also seeing a small handful of cases like this—it seems like there is some inconsistency in how IRS agents are handling. We're working on updating this guidance. (Ross—we're replying to our email thread now. And for any other Atlas founders who have questions about this in the meantime, you can reach us at atlas@stripe.com.)

Thanks a lot Edwin, appreciate it. Maybe there's been a recent change, as there's been a 100% rejection-of-ITIN-application rate in my accelerator cohort. In any case, if you could please let me know if this invalidates my 83(b), that would be really useful to know. Cheers

You can block by issuer / BIN with Stripe Radar: https://stripe.com/docs/radar/lists#default-lists.

You can also request to receive BIN per transaction if you write into support (https://support.stripe.com/contact/login). This isn't allowed by default because Stripe needs to make sure the setup and use case is secure to ensure PCI compliance.

The BIN is not covered by PCI. There's no reason they can't provide the BIN for every card.

Stripe support specifically told us they don't provide BINs and they don't make exceptions.
