My site c64g.com was completely removed from Google's search index, in apparently November 13th, after 21 years of being in the index.
It even has Adsense and Google Analytics and still it was removed.
I suspect some AI running wild and false flagging the site.
It's an established site for c64 games, you can even play some in the browser.
Laymen actually do care. But mass media does the sanewashing, and you can’t blame the average Joe of not having a deep understanding of what this entails and that it is not to protect the children.
Governmental interests benefit if we blame ourselves and other citizens for this shit passing. It is clear that modern democracies are people in power (which includes the media) vs the masses.
More circle jerk for their buddies.
The EU is an invite-only circle.
And you're not invited.
I don't even need to read the full text to know you'll have to fill out several compliance papers and in the end you'll be denied, because you're not part of the club.
Asking to take down a fence when you have no idea why it was put up is not smart. Neither is asking someone to “stop” Trump (and making not even a token effort to exclude violent or criminal ways of achieving that goal) based on a headline you skimmed for < 5 seconds.
To be fair, I can think of about a million good reasons to stop Trump. I'm sure just about anyone can. It's not just this headline or other headlines. It's, like, a lot of stuff.
I'm against ChatControl like most tech-savy people. But because someone is in favour doesn't mean they are a fascist. Usually they just don't understand why it is a problem.
"If it helps the good guys, I don't see a problem" is easy to say. And if you tell them "yeah but if it helps the good guys, it helps the bad guys", they will simply answer "well, make it such that it doesn't help the bad guys".
> pgEdge is a modern distributed database system built on standard PostgreSQL that’s designed for geo-distribution, high availability, and low latency — especially useful for "edge" deployments.
We're a little different in that we're not just 100% open-source, but also 100% compatible with community PostgreSQL. see https://pgscorecard.com for comparisons between pgEdge and YugabyteDB, CockroachDB on that front.
