The text of the bill explicitly holds app marketplaces liable for civil penalties if they distribute "foreign adversary controlled applications". So my guess is that Apple and Google are both opting to prevent distribution, even if ByteDance is willing to delist TikTok itself

Maybe it's similar to tweaking the LLM prompts. A different set of words trigger a different pathway in our thinking.

It could be, but I've not seen an approach to therapy that advocates tweaking like that. Most aim to identify a form of words that "should work" and then advocate persisting "until it works".

I read it as an experiment and hypothesis. The author is on a quest to prove their hypotheses. I appreciate the insight into the work in progress and the potential outcomes. It's more beneficial for me than waiting several months to see it fully proven.
