I exclusively drive modern cars, and have never experienced anything along the lines of what you describe. So maybe the problem isn't with modern cars, but old Cherokees ;)
i'm a current Flatiron Student. this was a effin great presentation. the content is tight, but his delivery was also highly engaging, so sucks for you if you weren't there.
I don't know. Seems to me like artificial intelligence hasn't lived up to the hype. We've had great progress in increasing processor speeds, but not as much luck at the Turing test.
Fantastic article and reporting. I've read about people with "locked-in syndrome" where doctors implant chips in their brains, and the patient can control a mouse on a computer screen with their thoughts. I wouldn't mind having that technology implanted in my brain, although I've heard that China has an electron bomb that fries all electronics within an absurd-mile radius; I would be worried about getting my brain fried.
