omg and with the new tech around generative AI...

This is shaping up to be a very interesting decade to be in tech.

We might actually be able to generate new sequences and test them against all the diseases to remove them.

We've had tons of layoffs in the past year, I don't think we'll see the effects of them until next year.

That is surprising, I would've thought that TS would have more overhead because of the interfaces adding extra weight. Makes me wonder what else TS could apply to. Language parsing, maybe?

At runtime, interfaces have zero weight. They get completely compiled out.

Agreed, even if you sign an NDA, I think that you can realistically communicate that "I was misrepresented the truth" to other employers and they would understand

This is a great article, love the deep breakdown and use of the charts

Hasn't LLM technology mostly made google translate obsolete? Are there still use cases for it?

It's faster and they aren't losing money hosting it.

Conversation mode, translate text on an image, latency, # of supported languages

Struggle with insomnia, as do many many manyy people - https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=c....

Will definitely give this a shot, thank you for the great work

I know from personal experience how debilitating it can be to struggle with insomnia. It's one of those conditions that's so easy to hide and hope that you can just "will" it away, which is why people don't talk about it enough. Hope you find our app helpful!

This is a pretty interesting idea, especially for companies that have come out of the growth phase and operate as more or less open source projects.

I suppose that the need for this comes out of the fact that.. we've written a ton of code that needs to be maintained at this point. It's not interesting work, but it's busy work that's still important.

Super cool!
