You're past the time of saying that and not being seen as an enabler my friend. This isn't normal politics anymore. They are killing people in the streets. If you don't think that your tech toys have a lot to do with that, then you should grow up. This pathetic point does not apply anymore.
On the night of Alex Pretti's execution by Border Patrol, big tech CEOs think it's a great idea to show up at the preview of the most pathetic movie in existence. This goes beyond "having to seat at the table" to change things, like Tim Cook often said. This is high level simping. I am so disgusted. These are the people y'all work for.
From a purely theoretical standpoint, what should the family victims do then, in a country where rule of law is not being applied anymore?
If these deaths will go unpunished - and Alex Pretti's is already well documented and clear EXECUTION - what are the direct consequence as a society with a 2nd amendment?
We let the social media “regulate themselves” and accepted the corporate BS that their “community guidelines” were strict enough.
We all saw where this leads. We are now doing the same with the AI companies.
Wrong. Meta has years of very well documented practices that are fundamentally detrimental to society when not clearly illegal.
Explain why politicians, which have not acted enough to avoid that, now should not act to limit the issue.
This line of thinking is detrimental and only defends the concentration of wealth that the online platform came to represent.
You should be the one doing some more research, I reckon.
