Yes. Macrumors here says “don’t buy” [0], but only because they tend to recommend only if tech is “new”. I have this ATv gen and it’s not perfect, but is really the best streaming box, having used roku and nvidia shield. PS: get the version with wired ethernet if you can…wifi works, but no surprise that wired is more solid.
I happened to be on island and got to see it from 5-7am, it was truly a sight to behold, unlike anything else I've seen. Got some cool pictures but of course they really can't do it justice.
Even a mile away we felt some heat! Astounding amount of energy literally spewing from Earths core
In Copenhagen, Denmark, these are used all over the city to, well, deliver cargo.
Then, annually they have a fun cargo-bike race called "Svajerløb" [0]
The event is based on traditional races that took place between the 1930s and 1960s. In the race, riders typically complete four laps - the first lap ridden with an empty cargo bike, then stopping to load up their bikes with cargo before completing three more laps with the full load. [1]
Are there many of this configuration? (Load in the back as a tricycle). I see lots of good cargo bikes (and I LOVE cargo bikes), just not many of this design. But facebook doesn't let me browse much without an account.
I'm across the strait in Malmö and it's very rare to find the cargo in the back. Mostly senior citizens ride a variant of this bike with two wheels in the back, a small pannier. Maybe because it suits their balance better.
But recently a coffee bike has been turning up here in Malmö with a classic 50s design just like the Cycleauto one, but the wheel is not mounted under the rider.
https://gastro-bike.com/en/coffee-bike/ This is not it but it's close. The one we have here is more of a rounded 50s design on the carriage. I don't have any pics.
Steve Wozniak's startup, Privateer[0], was originally created to clean up space junk, but it seems now their “mission” is to develop better tracking of objects in space, and to use this data to help avert disastrous collisions.
That's the thing we need. If your satellite is operating and in Low Earth Orbit, it is extremely easy to avoid a collision, even without any propulsion system.
If you are aware of the risk of collision a couple of days in advance, just changing your satellite orientation for a couple of orbit will retire the risk of collision.
You may want to perform in-orbit servicing, but that is more about increasing the longevity of your assets in orbit or increasing their capabilities via refueling/upgrading/repairing.
Seems oxymoronic as Meta doesn’t allow interoperability in order to maintain its walled garden.
Apple does the same but it’s generally done in the space of privacy- security and privacy going hand in hand.
I have little faith in government, any government, when it comes to technology. Either through ignorance or motive, they usually make decisions that result in less privacy, less security.
Linked pic is from 2010, but article says they still use the C64s. I'd love for someone to go there and get a new pic, maybe a quick interview on how it's going using C64 in today's age. Can they link to modern payment systems, f.ex.?
