For unity gamedev code reviews, I much preferred the gpt5 code. Claude gave me a bunch of bad recommendations for code changes, and also an incorrect formula for completion percentage.
With duck typing, you don’t need type hints. You’re just supposed to use the variable however you “feel” it should be used when you’re using it, and it automagically just works!!! Try it! /s
Would be cool if they started using displays with multiple layers, kinda like the looking glass 3D display, to get actual 3d layering of UI. Would look amazing with this new UI design.
I feel like ads are the least clever/most damaging way to make money for a platform. Maybe better would be to charge large servers a hosting fee. The server owners could figure out how to make money to pay for the fees, through donations to the channel, externally, etc.
I feel bad for all the sorters that have to sift through trash, who know most of the stuff will just get thrown in the landfill. Some people treat the recycle bin as a second trash can.
Especially on trash day when dog walkers go out of their way to throw their doggie bags in recycling bins on the sidewalk rather than the trash bin next to them.
There's no real punishment for missorting recycling, but I guess it's hard to prove who did what when trash collection is the way it is.
Much of the world is like this. Even in some advanced places, so I'm always on the lookout for the tp trash can to make sure I'm not going to damage their pipes by flushing when I visit a new area.
Does it? I've only been to Portugal a couple times (Lisbon and Porto) and houses had bidets (standalone), while bathrooms didn't, but didn't have tp buckets either.
Depends on the age of the building and the locations seeer system. Newer sewers and buildings can cope but older ones can’t.
Then there’s cultural expectations - if you have a country where you have gone decades of your life never flushing you will be expecting a bin even if the pipes don’t need one.
If you are staying in western hotels in major cities you will have a different experience than staying in private homes in villages.
In China at least, toilet paper wasn’t soluable for a long time and sewer plumbing wasn’t up to standard, so you used the waste basket for your TP. You would also bring your own TP to public bathrooms and they had no idea if your TP was soluable or not (lots of cheaper kinds aren’t). These days, toilet paper is universally soluable and plumbing is much better, you can totally flush it (and I always do when I’m there) but so many people grew up being told not to that they still have and use waste baskets.
Tengent: how's the steam deck compatibility? Reaktor looks fun but it's the only game device I currently use (I'm keeping my laptop strictly game-free)
EDIT: top steam review says the reviewer primarily plays the game on their Steam Deck, so I guess it's good
