If anyone is interested - I have written https://typealong.app/ because I wanted to combine reading with typing practice.

Not available in Germany. That’s a pity.

Ah, thanks. I googled it but used the word "plus". I thought that the + wouldn't be recognized, but trying it now actually found it no problem. I guess I need to erase the Google+ era from my mind.

The MetaMask Chrome extension doesn't let me visit your site because it seems to be listed on a list concerning "Ethereum Phishing Detection". Haven't seen this before, just thought to let you know.

Thanks for the heads up—false positive. I submitted an issue with MetaMask to have it removed.

Perhaps “Weib” An outdated, today slightly pejorative, word for “Frau” But to me the term “das Fischerweib” doesn’t sound familiar either, so I am not sure

I didn't know Weib was considered perjorative - although I've never had occasion to use the word.

The English word 'man' used to mean 'person'. A female person became a 'wife-man', i.e. a woman. So the word 'mankind', for example, doesn't (or didn't) imply that female humans don't exist.

For a less antiquated example, imagine that the text introduces the girl (das Mädchen) Fiona, and then persists in referring to her as "es", because the word Mädchen has a neutral gender.

"Fischerweib" could work. Doesn't sound familiar to me either, but it's a valid compound word at least...

Das Fischweib auf dem Markte, welch' Ware bietet es wohl feil?

And furthermore you have to differentiate between "assistance" doctors (~82k $) and "chef" doctors (~336k $). (I don't know the comparable titles in the US system)

Both values are taken from the parent's article and converted using Google. Of course, mostly without serious student debt

On macOS there is Dash - https://kapeli.com/dash which can download and make easily searchable many documentations as well as StackOverflow answers. I have been using it sparingly, but for coding without an internet connection it seems ideal

Now that you mention it, I tried a program called Zeal on another machine which could also use the Dash Docs format (I'm linux based).

I was thinking one would need to download offline copies of the most immediate tools documents but I guess I was hoping for some tried and true articles or techniques (read: silver bullet) and not have to download the whole internet and cross my fingers that I got everything I needed :)

At least post a source for such a claim. M understanding is that they managed. to act relatively good, given the information and circumstances.

It was in the newspapers in February and first half of March.

The "big switch" was 14to 15 of March. The MSN here ran a fake story about Trump wanting to buy some German pharma company (all large newspapers retracted the story around March 17), but it was enough to get people sufficiently distracted to completely change their previous policy.

It was pretty interesting to watch how it was orchestered.

I didn't look at the source code, but there seems to be a Chrome extension that does this. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wikizero/ailedophm...
